Mechanical Design Solutions
Our comprehensive design service goes from specification through to a complete design ready for manufacture. We will work closely with you to develop the specification and review the design as it progresses.
The design process we follow is flexible so we can adapt it to suit your specific needs and be involved as much or as little with your in house teams as you want us to be.
The service can be applied to individual component parts, complex mechanical assemblies, bespoke production tooling and fixturing or even just a problem that has to be solved.
Calculation & Analysis
From hand calculations through to finite element analysis (FEA) we can analyse your existing products or designs to help understand how they will perform in service or identify opportunities to reduce cost and improve product performance.
We can also analyse tolerance stack-ups on complex assemblies to ensure right first time builds. We can review existing product non-conformance data to identify how design improvements can eradicate quality issues and improve Right First Time (RFT) of production processes.
We can also provide reassurance as an independent over check of your existing design data and analysis.
3D Modelling & Drafting
As well as our comprehensive design services we also provide CAD Modelling and Drafting services using any of our in house CAD packages. We can produce models and drawings on your company specific templates and borders to your design standards in native formats to allow seamless integration with your in house product data.
